No, we're not! We'll miss you at the race - haven't seen you in a long time! You've been in hiding for too long...

But I'm sure that if you beg him hard enough, Anders will agree to a special race with you earlier in the week. After all, he needs some training to compete with Mark Kibort.

Are you planning to make it to one of next year's events - like SHarks at the Lake, or the 928 owners club international conference?

Hope to see you soon!

Me: "Hey Ann, the 928 gang is getting together for another Go-kart event. Wanna go?"

Ann: "Ya know, we've been doing a lot of car things lately, when was the last time we went dancing?"
Me: "Uhhhhhmmmm.......look, a puppy! .................................................

So looks like I'll be there by myself.....

So, we have 14 people confirmed, and some who would like to do two sessions. That should justify two exclusive sessions just for us.

Anybody else?

Now we are at 15 participants. Pretty neat!!!

Regarding Pizza - there are four places nearby:

1. A Round Table Pizza 0.3 miles from the track

2. Crispy Crust Pizza about 1.4 miles from the track (I think that's the one we went to last time)

3. Pizza Depot, 2.2 miles from the track

4. A new place called "Premier Pizza" 2.3 miles from the track on Auto Mall Parkway near the 880 interchange..

My personal inclination would be to try the new place. I have never been there, but will try to swing by and take a look.

Any thoughts?

Is there any place that offer pizza that is not made in a pan?

What do you mean by "pizza not made in a pan" -- pizza where the dough is tossed like they do it in Italy, or pizza that goes directly onto the surface of the oven for being baked?

Friday night is a busy pizza night, we may have to choose the place that can accomodate our large group. I liked the pizza last year (mmmmmmm,....pizza) but it was small and we had the place to ourselves since it was during the day. Nicole, you may want to inquire about reserved rooms at some of those places you mentioned.

I just spoke to LeMans Karting and finalized the reservation. We are scheduled for

7:00PM arrival
7:30PM first combo session
8:00 second combo session

So we'll be done at 8:30 and probably could be at the pizza place at 9:00PM for a late dinner. I'll let you know when I have finalized Pizza arrangements.

Thanks for doing all the legwork! I look forward to it! It will be interesting to watch the experienced "real car" racers against the "secret" go kart racer (hint look for the colorful Go kart helmet)....as for me....I'd be pleased with a mid pack finish...I just don't want to get lapped too many times by the big guns!

Partly kidding, but all the pizza I seem to find in the US is pan pizza.

Thanks for organising this Nicole!
