Oh, oh.... (hand up in the air asking for permission) can I play too?
Here's mine:
Keith, that is such a cool story and one of the reasons I even did this in the first place is for reunions (sort of) like the story you told. That's awesome. I really hope the site might help somebody else like Chuck when they are buying a car.
As for updating the info about your car, you are welcome to send me an email like Brian did and I'll add the new stuff when I do the next update. If you do send me an update please include the VIN of your car so I can easily track it down. This thing has grown to over 1,200 cars and without an easy way to find your car it takes me forever......
Speaking of updates, I am at a really and I mean really busy time in my life for the next couple months. The free time in my days lately is counted in minutes, including weekends (no joke) and I have absolutely no free time until at least the end of January. Perhaps you may have noticed some of the GTS pages have a black background and some still have the blue background. I was in the middle of reformatting all the pages on the site and adding the last of the GTS information when I got slammed with a couple of unexpected projects (its all good stuff).
Mel, I'm sorry you didn't make the last update. When I finished the last update I did in October there were no outstanding submissions that needed to be updated. Not sure what happened to yours and if you sent it to me since October it should show up in the next update (when ever I get to it.....) I do not usually send responses to submissions and if perhaps you left the full VIN of your car off the submission I will not ask you for it nor will I add the car to my site. I feel without that critical piece of information my site has no credibility and becomes just a 928 picture site and that is not why I invest all my personal time in creating. Hope everyone understands.
I hope you guys continue to find the site helpful, useful and most of all entertaining. Like most you, I love these cars and love to look at pictures of them. I feel the 928 design is timeless and even today looks as relevant as it did 20 years ago.

Here are ours.
First, belonging to SWMBO and her daily driver, grocery getter, former kid hauler
http://www.928registry.org/1988-928S4-1828.htm
Second, My project that is slowly coming clean, getting new radiator and elec fan right now so resting peacefully on jackstands in the garage.
http://www.928registry.org/Eurocars-1983-928S-0950.htm
And lastly, one we used to own. I sold it in Jan of '01 and the other day I was wishing I had it back. What a great candidate for a supercharger it would be. It is somewhere in SE now, Tennessee I think. I saw it for sale on ebay but it didn't sell.

Cheers,
JF

Here's mine. I've got some GTS mirrors and brakes waiting to go on. I also had the windows tinted since the pics.

If I recall he requests any updates to be sent via email to Info@928Registry.org along with your VIN.
Here's mine - http://www.928registry.org/1987-928S4-2360.htm
Probably the thinnest with no pics and no comments - have not had the time yet. That night apparently MOFWD (men of few words department) Posting this will persuade me to take some pics and update the codes, comments and mileage.

This looked like a fun thread and it's been almost a year without any activity.
Here's mine, but the photos are really dated:

What happens if you don’t call your bumps?
