I'm sure you all remember where I left off about this time last year,
losing the Superwedge to an electrical fire. Well, in the mean time, I've been driving a Subaru SVX, a very nice car, but let's face it, "Inspired by Porsche"
just isn't Porsche. But it was fun and reliable.
SMACK!
I get backed into in a parking lot at 2mph, enough to total my car. Depressing, because the car was perfect before the hood got folded, but the insurance is going to pay me $4550, about $1000 more than what I paid for it. So now I'm carless again for Christmas, but extremely hopeful of getting another 928.
I just bought a house, so money's a little thin, but if I find one in good enough shape, I could be persuaded to spend a little more for a fairly decent one. Does anyone know of one in the Northwest area? I'd like one within driving range so I can test drive it.
And oh yeah, as for being soured by my last experience? NO WAY!
Once you've owned a 928, you just feel silly driving anything else.
