Default Auto - 89 into a Euro 85 2 Valver

Hi All,

Will an auto from an 89 S4 fit an 85 Euro S2 (two valver)?

The floor pan hump between the seats is much larger on the late cars to accomidate the larger diameter "bellhousing" for the bigger torque convertor used on the later trans the torque tube is the same. You might need a bit of body work (large hammer) to fit the 89 trans but that is about it.

even better, if the 85 allready has the later 4spd auto box then the floor hump will already be there.

I put an 89 A/T in my ex 86.5. Needed to replace shifter cable and kickdown cable.
