Ansa dual exhaust for OB's for sale
Just in time for christmas, if you have an OB and want an X-pipe, here is your chance. I am replacing the ANSA dual system on my 80 Euro S with a single 3" exhaust, so the dual Ansa on there now is up for grabs. It is 2.25" I think, no known leaks, a little dirty but in good shape. It has the reducer flanges for MSDS headers welded on it right now, but if you are getting an x-pipe, you wont need it as the x-pipe senction would replace that. I am asking $200 plus shipping, it is off the car and ready to ship! If anyone wants pics just post here and I will have them up by tomorrow. My old MSDS headers are also up for sale, but another lister has first dibs on them right now. If he declines they will be available as well.

a little later than expected, but here are the pics and exhaust is ready to ship!
First 200+ship takes it, but reasonalbe offers accepted (no women or children!)

Kary, USPS is the cheapest around $18.00 and it will take 5 Bus days.
Are planning on getting an X-Pipe?

I need a new muffler at the least (mine's completely gone).
I've found Ansa stainless mufflers on eBay for $329.
I figure, if I can make your old exhaust work (and have a reason to add an X pipe) and help you out at the same time, what the heck.
I haven't paid much attention to the exhaust system yet. With your parts and an X pipe, I can simply have everything welded in place on my '78 - is that correct? If so, for $218 + an X pipe later, I can swing it. I was concerned that shipping would amount to a hundred bucks.

Kary your 78 battery box mounts to the transaxle which is one reason the 78 exhaust is unique. The requisite bracket severely limits the room for exhaust pipes and muffler.

Jim, are you saying that battery box modification might be necessary, or are you saying that I'm more likely not able to do this?
What would you suggest, since not even you guys have a '78 muffler. I'd like to help Airflite40 find a home for his pipes, but if they can't work on my '78. I sure would like to know before I try to put it together.
Thanks!
