S4 vs GT - difference in engine sound
I have had an 87 S4 auto for a while and I have now just got a 91 GT 
(both euro spec.). The GT is really quick and feels more sporty and responsive than the S4, but much more hard work to drive...
One thing though that i didn't expect: I think the S4 has a lot smoother and "classic" V8 sound, while the GT gives off a lot more mechanical (high pitch) noise, especially on high revs. It is hard to explain how it sounds differenlty, but at least i think there is quite a difference, and I actually like the S4 sound better. Any other with similar expecriences out there, or could this be something particular with my GT?
