James -

No prob...I wasn't calling you lame-*** by any means. I am a DE instructor...and I have seen folks abuse their brakes. (and - had to change my underwear a couple of times!!!) In most cases - even a set of mid-grade street pads should last through one day of DE! I was just trying to help.
I'm not perfect, either. I'd kill to get some lessons from some of the well-known super-successful shark racers!
