Seems like the 928 email list is having issues. There seems to be a very small amount of post. I tried several days to post a message and it never shows up.

Anyone else having the issue or is it just me? I use the digest mode on the list.

Seems to work for me. Did you post a new message from the website, or reply to the existing digest when it came to you?

I never email to the list. I use the web interface exclusively. Sorry.

It's terribly screwed up. Sometimes my posts go through. Sometimes my responses. Mostly nothing.

I unsubscribed to the email list about 6mths ago. I got tired of clicking and wading though pages of " RE: stuff". I prefer the format here.
I recall it wasnt the quickest to update back then either

Last I checked, there was only a handfull of the hardcore mail-listers on there, still talkin' about most everything but the 928.

I think most of the email list gang has come over here, but I'll ask JD (he's STILL on his honeymoon - give it a rest, John - sheesh ) if there's a problem that needs fixin' with it.

I still prefer the email list. Not nearly the volume of stuff compared to three and more years ago, though. Cognac over beer.

I've posted replies twice in the past couple of weeks (by emailing to the list), but nothing has showed up. There's definitely a problem with the list right now. I too prefer it to the web I/F; much more suitable for the bandwidth challenged and I like the crowd .

I don't know if any of you have checked on this, but three times I've been rebuffed, because I hadn't made certain the replies were "plain text", ( I'm in digest mode myself ) Everything I've sent to either site, had made it through.... Here, and in digest mode, I've had no troubles.

I'm not what I'd concider a "regular" poster. I watch a lot, and I am absent when things go on to absorb my attention and time elsewhere.....

I asked thinking that maybe JD had an intern to keep eveything (in this case not) going.

I like both the web and email list. There is some crossover, but some just like a list of information via email.
