Default clutch release arm changes

In the WSM it shows two versions of the release arm. Searching Rennlist, there seem to be several versions. My release arm is the newer style for 19mm pivot ball. Does that mean I don't need a new release arm for a new throwout bearing?

I may be wrong but to double clutch cars the original release bearing is still available.(928 116 085 24)
Which means that you should be Ok with your old arm.
(if your arm is number:928 116 832 07, should be stamped on it)

Cheers/Peter

Thanks. I guess I got confused between single and dual disk parts.

I have an 81s with double clutch. When I put in a new clutch I found the PO had upgraded to a gts release arm, I found this out because it was bent and I had some problems ordering and fitting the correct new arm.
I had bought a full clutch kit including release bearing and it all fitted OK with the latest arm.
