Clear tail light procedures?
I've done a search but can not find the post with the link to the clear tail light surgery procedure. I think the person that wrote it up removed the amber sections of the lights and replaced them with clear plastic from an overhead fluorescent light cover. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

That's weird . . . I know I am not imagining it. He had a site with a whole write-up with pictures. It was for the S4 tail lights, I believe. First, he made a template of all the amber and reverse light plastic. Then he removed all the amber and reverse plastic from the light housing (basically breaking it and filing down the edges). Then he cut a piece of the clear fluorescent light covers to the template, placed it in an oven to soften it up and then glued it in place of the amber. It was a pretty good write-up with good final results (at least in the pictures). I will keep searching.
Randy, maybe this rings a bell to you?

Hmm, can't say it does. The only tail light mod I'm aware of is the colouring of the amber sections to red.
Converting the amber sections to clear would make for a nice look I imagine.
