Anyone in Stockton or just south, please post how we can reach you. A friend is on his way back up here from Sharktoberfest and his waterpump is giving out, so he needs to get it replaced right now. He can do the work, and has an '81 which is easy to do. Anyone please? Btw does someone have a pump he could buy? Even a good used one would do for now. He just pulled off at Gustine and is still headed North.... on I-5.

Made it safely to my place by 5:30....went right to work. Had Ken's pump off in less than 2 hrs. Quick bite to eat and a trip to the hardware store, we're now getting ready to put my pump on his car. Luckily all Ken's bolts came out all right. My engine is still on the stand, so it was easy to remove the pump. Should be back together soon.

All done. About another 2 hours to put it all back together. Started right up, sounded smooth and healthy. Ken was more than welcome to stay here till morning, but decided to continue on. He just called, pulled off the highway to check things out, and reported all is well.
