Thanks Shaaaark, that's what I'm finding out about street use. So to remove preload I guess I should use adjustable links. Thing that I don't understand is how the bar has a twist in it? Ride height is in spec.

Toofast,

>So to remove preload I guess I should use adjustable links.

Why spend up to $100 for pre-load only adjustable drop links (not pre-load AND stiffness adjustable like the Ott Links) when you can spend $198 (if you buy the front/rear set for $399) for our new solid Rear Adjustable Performance Sway bar that include the Adjustable Pre-load and Stiffness Drop Links. If you want the rear only it is still only $225 complete! Of course it is a little harder to install the new bar, but since yours is already bent you really need to replace it anyway. Replacing the bent bar with a good used stock bar or installing our New Adjustable Performance Sway Bar is the same procedure.

>Thing that I don't understand is how the bar has a twist in it?

If your stock bar is bent (very common as those small rear hollow bars are not very strong) I would urge you to replace it with a straight sway bar of some sort. Once a sway bar is bent it will continue to bend under the loads of spirited driving. To give you an extreme example, imagine bending a piece of thin metal pipe, once it is initially bent it is very easy to bend it farther and even double it over.

Thanks Dave, So your rear sway bar is solid, right? Do I have to remove the trans to R/R the rear sway bar?

You are welcome.

>So your rear sway bar is solid, right?

Correct.

> Do I have to remove the trans to R/R the rear sway bar?

No you do not remove it, you only lower the rear suspenion crossmember and tranny (as an assembly) approx 2" .
