Default Day One - The Scenic Route to Sharktoberfest

Took the scenic route from the SF Bay Area to Anaheim - 10 hours total in the Recaro.

Some 928-based photos I took on the way:

Highway 58 (the twisty part)

Highway 58 (the straight part)

Soda Lake (that's not water in that lake in the background)

Sunset somewhere on Highway 166

There'll be more photos forthcoming of tomorrow's main event.

Cool

I can tell that you are going to have a fun trip. I was driving back to LA from Valencia on the 5 south and ran into two 928 southbound. I asked myself, "I wonder where they're going???" See you guys Saturday morning.

Man... I can't believe there were 4+ people there who knew me as "the owner of the car that broke last year". Just for the record, it was my wiring harness that was coming apart from the inside. Mark sold me another one and I came back the next morning to install it and drive home

Also if I had known that i'd be bringing Chris' GTS SUPERMODEL, I would have tried to register for one of the "cool people" spots, but oh well... at least a few people got to see it in the flesh

It was good to see all of you guys again... too bad some more guys from up north couldn't come out... and Andy couldn't make it either.

Until next time! (and i'll promise to have my own shark too)
