I disposed of an undertray that, when cleaned up, looked almost new. Except one of the mounting tabs had broken off and the 928 Int'l aluminum undertray was just oh so nice.

You know, there actually is something pretty valuable about this deal, so it's not as funny as I first thought. Buy the thing and tell the guy to just remove the two metal air channels; that's the two pieces that a lot of people have been looking for. Then have him throw the rest away.

I agree with Ed. The only reason I did not go for the aluminum when getting my pan is the lack of the vertical air channels from them (they are there for a reason... putting air in the back of the block). So they are worth something, and there is something to be said right there.
