Classic and Sports Car Magazine
The October, 2005 issue has the 928 listed as the 1978 Car of the Year, beating out the BMW 7 Series and the Ford Granada (English model). The write-up states that the 928 "has a tourquey, fuel injected aluminium V-8 dialled into on-rails cornering"

That's an excellent magazine, too bad it costs so much. The local bookstore used to hold a copy for me every month, but they changed policy and quit doing that for periodicals. Lazy bastards.

Here is the sticker Porsche put on the 1978 928s that came to the US. This sticker is original to the car. Recently, I bought another unused original on eBay.

They are doing a monthly article which is going year by year for the decade of the 70's. Since its a British Mag, most of them are cars we never saw in the States. Pretty cool stuff.
