Hi List,
My buddy has a 240sx with a short shift kit and a 3 puck clutch.
The pedal travel is about 2 inches...
It is a bit odd to get used to but I like it. you can still drive the car smoothly even though it grabs suddenly it is easier to drive then my car.
My car's pedal only does something for the first 2 inches and the rest of the pedal push does nothing.
Does anyone have their 928 setup like this? would it require a master slave cylinder change? Are ther any dangers of engine /crank problems... it sounds as though some people blame clutch and tranny probe thrust bearing and crank walk problems.
Thanks All,
LO

I don't know much about it, but I think that the later multiplate clutch is the hot setup. Try calling the big three about this. Mark Anderson races a stroker motor, and he would know. I also think that the multiplate is a lighter setup than the latest single plate style.

The 240sx probaly uses a clutch cable which could easily be modified with longer throw levers and some sort of block against overtravel. It is a whole different ballgame when a hydraulic system is used. A possibilty would be to install a larger (higher volume) master cylinder then adapt a block on the clutch pedal to prevent overtravel.
