Default marbles in the tranny tunnel.

yup- another problem.
I've had marbles in the tranny tunnel for a few months now. One thing after another, isn't it! . I believe the TT bearings(s) are not too happy.
Does anyone know of surrogate costs? I've done the dirty as I've been under the beast many times and after the proceedings shes never made a complaint. Funny thing is when I have her in R she doesn't make much noise. Put her in D and and it sounds like the bombing of a bearing factory- Wierd~!

I'd be willing to bet that it's your torque converter bearings instead of the torque tube bearings (if your car is an auto). I would replace them all while I was at it though...

I don't have a link to my torque tube write up on this computer but they are rebuildable at home in a normally equipped garage.

Hi Mike,

Lose or broken turbine fins in the torque converter can make the same marble sound. Disconnect the converter from the flex plate and spin it by hand you will know if it’s bad.
