What can be done to restore Club Sport wheels? I believe they are anodized. How to take of old and apply new coating to restore original look and durability? Owner of the wheels would not like to make permanent damage to them. Local shops which do this kind of stuff can't say for sure what to do with them unless someone can tell what stuff to use.

If it is oxidation on the wheels you can try this:
Shoe shine/CS Wheel shine
Did that on mine and it made a great difference, another alternative is vaselin.
Sounds weird but it works on the anodised original wheels.
