Clutch Release Bearing Replacement
After a day and a night, the torque tube transplant is almost ready to go in. However, there is the matter of a totally trashed release bearing and input guide tube.
Since the clutch discs and pressure plates look good (or are within spec) I'd like to just replace the release bearing and guide tube without pulling the whole clutch. Can it be done?
Is there a way to get the clutch out without taking it all apart and then putting it back together and having to adjust it? If so, I'll be able to replace the pilot bearing too (which would be a good idea).

I hope you already have the upgraded parts. If you have the old style NLA release bearing now, you need to install the new style release arm with the new style bearing. I forget whether the guide tube is different, so check that when ordering.

So far as I know, it's the original clutch assembly that came on the 1985 Euro S2. I was not aware of an upgraded version, I thought the dual-disc clutches were nearly identical from 80-86.
