Who does balancing?
It's time to get on with the 32V project for the 86 1/2. I am uncomfortable showing up at an unknown machine shop that does Chevys for balancing. With different pistons and near certainly rods, balancing is a must. I will be using S4 crank and pistons and probably non Porsche rods in an 85 V32.
Anyone have suggestions as to who (anywhere) does pistons/rod/crank balancing (meaning balancing the crankshaft to the new pistons and rods? The pistons and rods themselves likely are within close enough tolerance to each other.
Any suggestions as to who to use for crankshaft balancing I could ship the parts off to and about what that costs?
Thanks.
Mark

I concur with JV and SG... no major magic there.
But, like you, I tend to seek out the most knowledgeable in their trade. (i.e. screw up on your own time, not mine..) So, if you can't find anyone local, I use a super-serious guy in Holshopple, Pa named Crankshaft Dynamics.
