To "NoVector" and Alan: as per my very 1st post, Alan also inspired me with many of his made modifications - including the neoprene/fiberglass intake tubes. Thanks once again, Alan!
Not wanting to pay the additional U.S.A. to Finland import taxes, after a long search I found a firm in Europe (Spain) that sold such (and many more tubing products). I bought 2 * 1 meter of their "VENA mtd/ig D76 DE" in black colour (with white wrapping string, I removed that without having any worse side effect till date): see http://www.tuningvenair.com/silicone_hoses/ceramica/639
Cost me under 100 EUR including shipping, they were decently fast and efficient.
I have no further afiliation with them what so ever, just passing on what worked for me.

Bought a 79 manual no sunroof for a track car project, new paint, refurbished D90 wheels in Subaru gold, and graphics. It is lower than this now after adjusting the race dampers. You either like the graphics or you don't, there is no middle ground, it is a hark back to the styling of the time and a particular model kit.
Rear wiper and aerial deleted also.
The interior was shot anyway making it ideal to strip and run it on track, still needs a cage and tidy of the dash.

Interior
Rear seat delete, upgraded interior lighting with LED's, 99? seats, JVC touch screen double din, focal 3 ways in the front, B.A. 10" sub out back with kicker amps, raamat sound deadining under new carpet, and some Paul Champagne lasered pascha pieces. T
