Default Momo wood steering wheel

Took a pic of some new upgrades to the interior of my 1986 S today.
Momo wood wheel with Jag. Eng. wood program shift **** ,temp sensor cap and glove box lock surround (rosewood).
I will be doing the full blown wood program as soon as I free up some funds.
BTW this is my daily ride and everything still works!

"ratty Porsches"? To each his own I guess. Sorry, but that wood option is hideous!

Enrico: that wood option is certainly not hideous. You might not like it and that is your privilege but we tend to be a bit more considerate around here

RDS, most around here know of my liking for wood trims and I for one applaud your efforts.

I actually like it--my interior is going to be 1/2 burgundy and 1/2 black when I am finished (more due things like it being easier to get seats covers in black, dash caps, etc.

A reddish wood and black steering wheel would look good in my car.

Where did you get it?

enricooooooo,

lighten up hombre .

ratty Porsches as in states of dis-repair or run down. Many 928's unfortunetly end up in the hands of wannabes who can't afford to maintain them.
Let's see your's since your so critical. And by the way the factory offered wood trim option in the later years. I guess they wanted to kill sales.
Get the popcorn out boy's.

AFARR,

Go online and search for Momo or go to the Momo.it web site.
Unfortunetly Momo has done away with the wood wheels due to the latest "rice-flashy as in tacky look" craze.
But a few still exsist.
This one came from a Momo store on ebay(where else).

Good Luck

I had a discussion today with a guy from Ebay (sold him my Project Motorcycle)--

How many people would work on older (the Sharks included) cars if the Internet didn't make information and parts more available? Ebay is a pretty good place for lots of things--the Big 3 here are also excellent sources of parts and info.

I know that I would have never purchased a Shark (or the BMW E30s I have/had) if I didn't have a relatively good source for parts.

Anyone else?

Hi Paul,
Speaking of "applauding efforts", I do on your ostrich project. Have you got any updated pics this interior project? Maybe even some installed pics!?
