S4 intake on an S3?

S4 intake on an S3?
Assuming some port mismatching, will an S4 intake otherwise bolt up to the intake ports as a replacement to an S3 intake? Both are magnesium, correct? The S4 manifold is more rigidly in place, therefore better suiting to items mounted to it.
Thanks.

My guess if going to be no, as the heads are different. I know the exhaust will not match up. I am sure you will get confirmation from someone who knows for sure.

There have been several such conversions. You must figure out what to do with the resonance flap and a couple small mounting bosses in the valley on the block need to be ground away. Different throttle and cruise cables etc.

IIRC, the fuel rails, accumulators, regulators, surge tanks and lines need to be converted too.... you'd need the later TB, airbox and spark plug wires too, as the routing gets messed up (or better, depending on your orientation)... might need another top harness too... I convt'd the FMU/EZK at the same time so I had flappy control and knock sensors, but it required custom cabling at the relay board to integrate into the original stuff...
I'd change the heads to match the intake, as the ports really don't match up, are designed for a different intake system, and the later heads also have bigger valves... hehehe, course then you get to change the timing belt stuff, oil control (breather setup), and waterpump, cooling fan arrangement, front harness, headers, tons of fasteners, and all the engine covers.... just buy a wrecked gt/gts/s4 for parts and swap away.....
IIRC, jb once referred to it as a "slippery slope"... he was being kind - it's more like a cliff...
