Has anyone ever been to this event? It looks pretty fun. I have never been to this type of thing and am considering going this year. Any other 928'ers in the FL region ( or others) going?

As a 928er and 356er I may be very interested in this event. I am in Seminole, FL
(St. Petersburg side of the bay). My dilemma would be which car to bring...

Thats a great dilema to have. It sounds like there is some interest in this.

So........is anyone going to go? Its next weekend and I am still thinking about going. I just called the raceway and the prices are very rteasonable. I will post below. Keep in mind that the pit box seat price and the club sebring price is for all three days. Pretty inexpensive if you ask me. I think I could drink $125 worth of crown in three days.

I'd be interested in going too, I am in Tampa area. I know the Feb Porsche Club racing is a blast to watch. Does anyone know if they are looking for volunteers to corner watch? That is awesome! They put you right on the turns to help out with the race.

I've been to multiple Historic events at Daytona & they are always fantastic! Really great to see such a wide variety of vintage race cars. If you get the infield/paddock pass it allows you to walk thru the pits as you wish to see the cars up close & talk to the drivers, crews, ect. Not sure if Sebring would have such liberties, but either way you will be glad you went.
Wish I could go. I know George & Claudia live in Sebring, they were going to drive up here with their Shark to Jax last weekend, but had to cancel. I'm sure they would try to make it with it being right there in their town. Doubt I could coordinate my schedule with a week's notice, but Pamela & I would love to go if I could somehow swing it.

We have put it on the calendar for the 12 hour race at Sebring early 2006. We've been told its lots of fun with the Porsche club racing that I think is the week prior to the 12 hour race.
