Wikipedia 928 entry
Not completely accurate information. I didn't read the whole thing but I noticed a claimed 95 GTS's in 1995. The actual number is 78. Lot's of misinformation out there about the number produced and even more bad info with claims made like how many GTS's were autos vs. 5-speeds, the last black GTS (didn't see these on this web site), and so on......
Chuck,
Its still cool and if you go to the discussion or edit page we can probably correct the information.
I especially liked the part about its nick name and
"A great community dedicated to the 928 exists online even today, and the car has won a huge fan base."
Someone cares

I'm with Chuck. There are a lot of technical errors. I'd create an account and go to town but I'm turning into a pumpkin earlier than usual tonight. (But, anybody with all the spec books can do it too - most of it at least.)

About week ago I got fed up with some of the errors there and did some fairly drastic editing. Didn't have enough time and energy to clean it up entirely. '95 GTS production number was one of the places where cleaning was only partial. Earlier text didn't mention USA in there and it could be interpret as world wide production. Didn't have time to check correct US number. If people in this list would work on it together it could become actually useful reference.
Fun stuff ... BTW, for the 1994s it says "# Improvements: RDK deleted, cabin air filter added. Dynamic kickdown added to automatics". What exactly is the 'dynamic kickdown', not sure I've ever heard of that before ...
