Default Clutch slave rebuild kit

I'm looking at the slave as the culprit in my inability to get a fully operational clutch - normal pedal pressure. Replaced the master with a rebuild kit but still can't get a normal pedal. I have removed the slave and the seals all look normal ie: no tears or apparent wear, there is no fluid leakage at the slave but it is the only remaining component that may be the cause of the problem.
If it is defective would I necessarily see some wear on the seals?

It would probably be leaking if it was bad. Are you sure you have it completely bled ??

I have had so many clutch problems with 928's I recently bought an automatic. I just got completely fed up. Its really a bad clutch setup all the way round. Funny, I have had some 928 5 speeds with no problems and a couple that had constant problems. My last car had a continuing mechanical clutch problem I could never figure out. I would have to drop the clutch and rebuild it about every 15k miles.

My last car, last partial clutch peddle, I changed all the hydraulics only because i knew it could not possibly be mechanical because I replaced everything the year before. Spent 3 weeks $%&$ing around with the hydraulics and finally dropped the clutch and this was what I found and it had done this more than once. This is what my last car did on a regular basis. 3rd one down.
