Wheeler Dealers Restoring 928

That was pretty cool. Too bad the host is such a tube-steak. Yeah, funny how they never even addressed the possible engine issues. Silly Brits
Thanks for posting it Daredevil!

I haven't tried it yet, but I will be utilizing his "paracord" trick to get the quarter molding back on the rear windows.

That was a fun show. Lot's that I could identify with.
One thing that I didn't like was his complaint about the car being brown over brown. All the finest 928s are.
I've done the "paracord" trick on 944 windows. It's slick. Helps to have a helper to push firmly on the window while you work the lip in from the inside.

GlenL,
I agree, I really enjoyed it. I loved all the enthusiam about the 928, and the numerous references to fine German engineering and it's being a super car. They got a heck of deal on that car too.

I like how they cut the 1/4 window rubber, got new ones but never mentioned how much these cost. There is any easy $400 that they left out.

The BBS wheels on that car went to UK 928 guru Paul Anderson in the video, he then used those wheels on his '79 racer.
The very early silver 928 is owned by John Vaughn and it reported to be the very first one imported into the UK, it is a one owner car too and very original low mileage.
I feel sure they left out some steps in the filming and costs in the final total.

Love this show as well! Watch it often and I managed to catch the 928 episode and DVRed it! Good thing Mike does not have to pay Edd or he would NEVER make a profit on ANY of the cars he flips!
