Are sheepskin comfy to sit on? I've never used them but I can see the value in them in protecting the seats.

Yes, they are comfy.
If you live in a warm climate and like to wear shorts, they will keep your thighs from sticking to the seat.
In the winter they are not as cold as the leather when you first get in.
They raise your seating position about an inch.
They dry clean VERY WELL. However age is beginning to deteriorate them.
Hope this answers your question.

Also, they ARE 928 specific covers. They fit like a glove and have cutouts for the seat controls and seat levers.
