Default '86 Blk/ 5spd in NC

Is anyone familiar with this car in Terrell, NC? Pics look very clean. Price is too high but the right color (for me anyway).

Autotrader 86 928 5 speed

The countdown has begun. After 20+ years of wanting and 3 years of looking and research, I am about to dive in and become a newbie owner. Now if I can just find the right car after a PPI.

Thanks,

I'm in the market too,if all checks out and it's euipped as you want, the price is right around what I've been seeing. You'll buy it lower no doubt, but no matterwhat, RARELY do you get something for nothing. Good luck and enjoy it. The availability is limited and the interest is select , but theres plenty of interest...it's sort of a captive audience thing.

Car has WI tags? Old photos or a recent transplant, maybe a snowbird?

Looks nice in the pics! VERY clean example - at least as far as you can tell from the pics.
If you get close on it....THREE things to remember
1- PPI
2 - PPI
3 - PPI

You might also want to get a PPI!

SERIOUSLY - you may want to have someone from the R'list in {wherever it is actually located} give it a once-over....they can probably let you know if it is worth spending the $$ on a PPI or if you should 'pass'. Also - a CARFAX can SOMETIMES help eliminate problem vehicles before you get too far in the process.

Price does seem a tad high....might be right if it were an 86.5 - which it is not.

Shows in NC - but that phone number IS a WISC number???

Many thanks. I've emailed the seller for history and details. We'll see what next step might be.

Thanks,

Calvin

That is strange the ad says automatic 4 speed but the pic clearly shows a 5 speed.

The hatch cover is still there! Or was it maybe redone? If original, that is extraordinary for a 19 year old 928.

After emmigrating from California 3 years ago, I am still too new to North Carolina to not know where Terrell is? Apparently yes.

A lotta people relocate to and from North Carolina - could be that someone relocated and kept a Wisconsin cell phone number.

Good luck!

Since WI isn't close to Charlotte, I withdraw my offer to go look at it......
