Carl actually I was thinking more about just how much more you might get from a supercharged stock 4.5 engine by simply bolting on headers and a high flow exhaust system. We know the S-4/ GT are showing from 30-50 Hp with headers, X , duals ,press reg etc. It would be interesting to see what a $1,000 or so of exhaust would add to your 347 HP. The go nuts ,ball to the wall ,take no prisoners, cost is no object is another topic altogether. There are people who are interested in what they can do with bolt ons like the blower kit and exhaust improvements but who really do not want to redesign /rebuild the engine.

We have some of these answers already - the CW (Conventional Wisdom) is that Headers and a less-restrictive exhaust really help a NA motor, but the boosted motor already overcomes most intake and exhaust restrictions as a result of the boost, and by doing so, does not leave a lot on the table.

From what I have read and heard, where the headers and free-flowing exhaust on a NA V8 may generate 40 HP, the same headers on free-flowing exhaust may only produce 10 HP on a Supercharged motor.

I even have read some information that opening the exhaust up on a SC motor can harm torque because of the drop in air velocity.

My own drop in performance from supercharged US heads with small valves to supercharged euro heads with big valves is exactly what all others have experienced too - that narrower passageways are better in a boosted motor because you keep the velocity of the charged air up. I understand that the exhast will react the same way - and opening the exhaust up on a SC motor may drop torque as a result.

Remember: this is only 262 Cubic Inches - how much exhaust do you think it needs?

What does this new fuel delivery system add to the difficulty and time required to install your kit?

Now that the design of the FES is finalized I am writing the installation instructions for it. Looks like it will add about 30 to 40 minutes to the installation time of the Stage 2 SC kit. It isn't much or hard. All top-of-the-motor stuff.

PS: the FES is strictlly for the K-Jet CIS cars, the L-Jet doesn't need it because it has electronic injectors, the K-Jet doesn't.

I cannot get any of your video's to work. Is it user error or technical problems?

Nice power, same as a stock GTS dynoed in Sweden a few days ago under my watch!

It does look like it is running way rich though..

Gotta love that Low CR high boost option for a 928.

Yes - the recent release of internet viruses got our FTP server messed up this time, and it still isn't all right yet. Should be fixed Monday or Tuesday.

But, you can also Email me at carl@928motorsports.com with your mailing address and I can send you a CD of the videos.
