Probably not the PC thing to do, but a little "payback" to the Corvette driver would be tempting? I know, not cool... still I wanted to see you get back on the track, then give him a nice little "love tap" nonetheless.

Actually the guy that "T" boned me was very nice. He came over and apologized and offer to help fix my car. The guy that hit me from behind never said squat. I did meet up with him at a later race and I was in a position to spin him off but I just couldn't do it but I did give him a tap just to say hello.

Heh heh heh- just as you're wasting several air-cooled 911's....you pass under a sign:

"Briggs & Stratton"

Great Video's! I agree about the 1st save & also was great watching you pass those 911's like they were on 3 cylinders! I personally think it was your ability as a driver even more than your Sharks as a car. Keep em coming!

Wow! You absolutely rocked Road Atlanta! When was that? Great clips!!! How many 'fender benders' have you been involved in with the stroker? Thanks for sharing these clips, just awesome.

I am amazed how easily you passed does other cars, is that a tribute to the car or the driver. That’s a five star rating in my book. Was that a manual transmission.

Very nice Mark! In the mean-time, I'll just continue living vicariously through your track events/videos!

I did scare an RX-8 during my drive yesterday, though. Not a huge victory, but one in the "W" column nonethless.

Thank you for the nice comment but I must pay tribute to the car. It truly is an amazing car to drive and it can make even a good driver look great.

No need to be so modest. Some sharp driving there, period.

Actually that is Road America in WI. In 20 years of racing I have only come one twice needing to replace body panels and that weekend was one of them. The second time was just a few months ago and I drove off track to avoid someone and hit a tire barrier. If you like these clips I have lots more which I put onto a CD.

Passing cars in a straight line is mostly all car but how you enter the straight can be very important. Yes that was a 5sp and the trans is all stock.

Thank you but the critic in me keeps looking at the mistakes. Both of these clips were several years ago and I do feel I have improved since then. At least I know my lap times are faster now.

Well that's the point. You yourself are your biggest asset. I admire that in drivers. Those poncing around with the 'know it all' attitude are the ones with the most to learn. I've recently started racing 250 Superkarts. I thought I knew my stuff... yeah right, I'm down a notch or two right now, but I'm learning...

Karting is a great. I think it places more empasis on the driver and less on equipment. So much of motorsports is all about how deep your pockets are and there is always someone who gladly out spend you.
