Can't wait to see more pics. I was a little surprised to see the round speakers on the door, I thought most 84's would have the 1 large perforated style.
Everything looks great! The seat piping, the center armrest, the horn pad, and of course the dash.
We need a whole write-up with tons of pics, including who did it and were different leathers looked at?
Thank you TV, now you have given me homework!!
Indeed I do have pics, before, after and at various stages.
As per the leathers, they were supplied by the same company that supplies Porsche from Germany.
Indeed this cost was a large portion.
The door speakers are the same as when I purchased the car approx. 10 years ago, the head unit was not the original and
neither were the door speakers in the front, they were also very bad condition and sounded bad too.
It is possible they were changed / modified from the perforated ones as you state but I am not sure about this.
From looking at how it was before it does not seem it was modified, but it is possible.
I will try to look into this somehow, if anyone knows how I can go about doing this please let me know.
It will be a few months before I do the write up and more pics sadly as it is going back soon.
I have no idea how long it will take and I never rush them.
1984 928 S2 4.7l EU Spec - After a year refurb, it's finally back for snagging, then will hopefully be complete in a few months. I have contacted a Porsche GB Club photographer to take some pics and will post them eventually!
For now just a sample...
Earth to Tiger .... Earth to Tiger .............. come in Tiger ............... your last transmission mentioned more pics ..... over and out
Winter finally ended here in Ontario, Canada and it was Junior's first time behind the wheel of the early 1979. His reaction was not prompted! I think he enjoyed his initiation into the shark tank?
My pics are not going to be glamorous. It has been siting in a Garage since last September. I do not think I will even have it back before the summer is over Hopefully I will get to post more in the future when I can actually drive it.
First trip onto the lift:
This is how it looks at the moment, I visited it two days ago,
