Alright, call me a pessimist but I'd be very careful on this one only because of where it is.
I had the pleasure of living 4 years in Laredo, TX and my wife was born there. In my time there I have found that their definition of a "nice" car is quite a bit different than what we might be looking for.
PPI is a great idea but there are no porsche dealerships in the city and the only local guy I knew of that worked on German cars on a regular basis specializes in Mercedes.
My first car I bought down there was a BMW 325. Went to have it inspected to get it registered and failed due to no emergency brake. Took it apart and found the cable hooked up but no emergency brake assembly at all. I admit I may just be sour because of my personal experience down there.
It does look like a great buy though.

DMV says:
Current owner: Efren Moreno, M.D. of Laredo, TX
Title Issue Date (Purchase Date): June 27,1996
Mileage at Purchase: 32969
Preveious Owner: UB Leasing, Laredo, TX
Sounds like he leased the car and purchased it post-lease.
Hope this helps

The owner is a plastic surgeon who's been able to afford all upkeep whenever it was necessary. He's put less than 5K on it per year. Too bad Laredo is so remote. This car deserves a good look.

Could be a nice car, but plenty of reason to be careful here.
One odd thing I remember though.........back in the late '90s Autoweek had a road test between a '91GT, Jag XJ12, and BMW 850. The 928 in the magazine was a white on light grey GT.......still have the mag. We pretty much know that GTs are kind of a rare animal and I don't know how many white on grey GTs would have been produced for '91.......I don't think this color combo would have been real common. Same car??.......a pretty big long shot, but who knows, just something to think about. Porsche press cars didn't always lead a great life. Anyone know when it was first titled?

Will not deal with Ebay anymore!!!! Won't do it! Ebay has been overwhelmed with fraud IMHO in the last year or so. Additionally, when you have a problem, trying to get an actual living person on the phone to help straighten the mess out is an excercise in futility. It's amazing that an operation such as Ebay that handles what must be millions of dollars for auction transactions on a daily basis does not even have a phone number to call when troubles arise. When I was having problems I had to sit in a tech. chatroom for hours with a technician getting things straightened around. When I asked why there isn't a phone number to call i was told, " There is, but we reserve that for our Hi-Volume buyers and sellers". Amazing!!!! Sorry for the rant.
