I FINALLY have everything back together and the car on the ground. I charged the battery and went for the BWAAAA......NO BWAAAA!
The engine did not even click or try to turn over. My suspicion is something to do with the Automatic feature that prevents the car from being started in any position other than PARK.
Any thoughts? If it is the "Park position sensor" how do I fool the systems?
So…….close…………….

The automatic uses a start relay, the five-speed uses a simple brass bridge instead of the relay. Remove the start relay (XIV on the '88), and jumper the 86 and 87 terminals in the socket.
