Cool! I did a double-take on your speedo, then I saw that it's in KPH. Then I realized your expression was pretty calm for your rate of speed if it was MPH! Maybe that's another pic?

cool

also, a night-time in the fog shot would be sweet, especially if you could see the headlight beams and some lights in the periphery...

Are you saying that one should be scared going 85mph in a 928? That would be no more than the speed recommended by the German government as safe on the Autobahn. But people there drive 928s at over 150mph every day without being scared...

260mph speedo?!

we dont officialy have autobahns here but there is a recently completed stretch of motorway with reaaly smooth ashphalt and toll booths at each end which keep trucks and caravans away. i cant help myself from stretching the 928s legs when im driving this road, but i do stop for coffee half way in case anyone is timing traffic! hitting high speeds isnt scary except when going round bends, its amazing how those sweepers seem to compress and look tighter the faster you go!

VERY COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nicole,
I've seen some VERY bad aftermaths from autobahn accidents...I would be nervous at 150mph no matter were I was. I have to get up to 120-130mph in a Crown Vic Interceptor on the interstate...its never a calm experience. I only wish I could use the GTS for intercepting.....

These are great pics. I especially like the one in the second row, far right. No offence here, but I got to say your blured image in the mirror makes you look like "Chester the Molester". (just kidding you) but only a little.

Whats the technique? Camera, F-stop, etc....

The cam is a Sony V3 on speed priority off 5sec and 7sec, the F-stop is left to the cam. I highly recomend this camera..The set-up is a small tripod held down with 3 small bungee cables (Not tight enough to eliminate vibration. ) and an eye open for smooth pavements and proper lighting.
