Cargo cover pic?
I want to install a cargo cover in my '87 S4, but the cover I've got (in leather; from a mid 80s 'S') has four "press-on" buttons (on the piece where the zip is) that I guess should attach to the back side of the rear seats - however I can't find any similar bottons there. Does anyone have pic(s) from inside the car of how it is correctly attached and buttons located? I guess a cloth one is the same as a leather one?

My 83 leather cover has the studs/clips you speak of. They allow you to roll up the forward part and clip it to the central cross bar when the rear seats are erect. There should be a small leather tongue (~ 1" sq) coming off under the bar cover with the mating part for the clip to engage. dont have a pic of that specific part, but I do recall it . Roll the forward part up firmly until it meets the central bar,and see if there is any sign of something lost/damaged/torn off near the clip at the bar. My cover is a with a friend to pattern off to enable reproduction.

Thanks guys! So a piece must be missing from the cover I've got, since there are no places around the 'center bar' to clip it on if I roll it up. I thought it should clip on to the backside of the rear seats, but apparently not (my cover fits directly in and is of the same type as the S4 ones). Guess I can just tuck it under the carpet rather than roll it up.
