More like... What's the scoop? Ya got these on order, just day dreaming or asking our opinion on your design/taste in wheels?

They're in the process of being powder coated in black/clear just like in the picture.
Boy, this is a tough crowd!

They look way to big on the car to me....but then i'm 'old school', or so i'm told.

I don't like rims bigger than 17" on anything, and to be honest, most of the time i don't like 17"s on anything either, lol.

No issue Ernest. It's just that they are PS'd on to your car, and I was wondering if you have them, thinking of buying them, or just looking for opinion.
( We're not tough, just not to bright )

On the latter.... they look Fab.

Cheers,
Mike

They're 17 inch Etoiles 81/2 inch fronts with 57mm offsets and 10 inch rears with 45mm offsets. They were probably made in the 80s and look like Ernest's wheels but have flat spokes instead of dished. They were originally refinished by Wheels by Adam in Dallas and then were sold to a guy in Atlanta who discovered that Adam had switched centers between one front and one back resulting in four wheels with four different offsets!!
He returned them for a refund and I've decided to use them so I'm having them refinished AGAIN, (NOT by Adam) this time with powder coat. I'll have about $900.00 in them by the time this fiasco is finished.
Still cheaper than the $4000.00 Kinesis wheels I REALLY want.

Ernest,
The Speedline on mine are 56mm offset 8" fronts.
I'm investigating whether 245/40/17 will fit fine.
The 225's now still allow a bit of front end wash on tight corners.
Witness all the tire squealing at SITM when I was trying to chase you guys down.

245 front and 255 rear will be my final goal.
My 9" rears are 44mm offset and may be calling for a wheel spacer.

Gotta love the 80's.
My set came off a 944.

If we all make it to next SITM, we can park next to each other and tell the newbies that the 5 spoke was a RARE 928 option.
