Lindsey Racing is doing it with the early 16x6 Fuchs alloys for the 911 crowd. You could give them a call.

Very high risk/liability for the person doing the work. A safety concern for the driver.

A wheel coming apart at 160 mph is an "issue" that i would not want to deal with.

BUT, if you have it done, there was a supplier in Stockton Ca that advertised in autoweek some years ago that specializd in wheel widening.

Marc, I did talk to Stockton wheels and they referred me to Harvey Weidman’s Wheels in California, I have also seen his ad in Excellence magazine. I agree with you, the safety has me thinking. I’ll let you know how it goes. I am dropping the wheels off at Wheels America in Dallas today. http://www.fixrim.com/

People are probably going to howl, but i've been running 245/45/16s on my 7" phone dials for well over a year. If there was a negative change in handling, i sure can't tell.

I have a couple 8" phonedials on the way for the rears, but the 7"s are going to stay up front still for the forseeable future.

Anyone have any pics with 8" phone dials installed?
