I just purchased a 91' S4, the radio is blinking and its asking for the code. I don't have the code, but using the VIN and a Porsche Dealer and Alpine search we came up with a code-but doesn't do the trick. I feel fairly certain its the original unit. Any further ideas, or has it likely "met its maker"??

I know he can reset the code, but you'll have to send the unit to him.
