Well I've been lurking in the back ground now for a few months and thought now would be a good time make my intros.
In December '04 I picked up my first 928. 1979 5 speed, 124k. nice car. Like nothing else I have ever driven! But like most cars with this millage, she needed some tlc. So I put on a set of 17" 996 wheels & new conte rubber, upgraded the brakes, cut the cat out and installed straight pipes & a Borla cat back exhaust, and of course all of the interior pieces(seats,carpet,etc...)
Well, this is what I ended up with, I hope everyone likes her.
Thanks, John

Moon928,
Its a '70 Mach 1. Found 6 yrs ago, total basket case! All new metal from doors back, new 2 piece fiberglass nose(10 dzus fasteners and the whole nose comes off from doors forward), small block 351 punched and stroked to 423 ci, steel block custom alum heads, big carb, C-4 trans w/ brake, aluminum/kevlar drive shaft, n case 9" w/ spool. 3.90 gear, 26" slicks & drag skinnys up front, centerline telstar wheels,10 pt cage inside w/ all nessesary guages, painted '01 dodge viper pearl blue. Best way to discribe driving her- the gas pedal is just the on/off switch, there is no middle ground. Next weekend she is being treated to a new 4link rear suspention.
Thanks, John

John. Nice cars. I had a 65' Mustang fastback that I built into a Shelby GT350R clone. Built 351W 4-sp top loader. I loved that car and really regret letting it go. Unfortunantly I have no pics of it on my computer to share. I think I'll go sit in my 928 and mope!

Nice Shark & nice Stang too! I like the GTS wing on the back. You've done a alot in the short time you've owned your 928. Sounds like you know your cars! Welcome!
