Default Oil level too high

I checked the oil a couple of days ago and it looked to be half a quart short while warm. I topped it off with about three quarter of a quart and now noticed a spot of oil about where the breather hose ends up (supermodeled car...).
I checked oil again, cold this time and it is over the full mark (aaahhhhh).
Stupid me overfilled the oil. Should I worry, get it sucked off or just wait until it gets blown out or burnt up?

I believe there are some websites that address that! - LOL

Seriously - Too much oil (or - as we say down south...Too much "EARL") is not a good thing - suck some off.

Remember - checking the oil just after running, it has not all drained back in the pan.

Hmmm...I have an oil evac pump...you could also pull the filter to get rid of some, or just drain a little from the drain screw.

If you have a mityvac and some small tubing - you might try sticking the tubing down the dipstick tube.
