Default Nothing exceptional (road trip report)

but a nice trip. Left Sat at 5AM and drove to Metchuen NJ from downtown Derwood, MD outside DC, for a WE with the kids. Saw one white 928 South bound on the NJ turnpike and not another for the whole trip. Got 20 MPG up and back running at 80-90 on the speedo (which is horribly inaccurate) without a hitch. Took 3 hrs up and 3:15 back with one stop each. Comfortable car. Converted a perfectly good wife from a skeptic to a beliver. Except for the trip to SITM this was my first on the road trip. It won't be my last. I bought the car to drive, not sit. It is a 85 with 57K on the odo (which is a bit of a lie I think because of the sick spedo) but I guess I don't care. Forgive me for this post, but it is a slow day!

Even an uneventful road trip in the 928 is exceptional, right Tee!
