Hi Mike,

Why are you going with the 42# instead of the 30#. Knowing you I am sure there is good reason so I am probably in for at least 1 set for the MX424 coming my way.

Hope everything is good for you and you are close to being back in a Shark.

Hey Jim,
I'm not quite sure how close I am to being in another shark. I'm kind of teetering on the edge of buying another shark or buying an early 90s BMW 325is and swapping in a larger motor for a smog-legal monster.... but then I remember that it just won't be the same as a 928. A 928 will be better in almost all respects (for me at least) except cost.

With that in mind, I currently only have 1 shark in mind. Its a VERY clean '89 S4. I'm going to need some sort of a loan to get the car, so i'm trying to look into getting my credit fixed up. Hopefully it'll all workout because i've got some special plans for a full stand-alone engine-management system and low-compression.

As for the 42# injectors, i'm getting them for several reasons. I'll have more room to grow (safety), i'll have standalone-engine management (so my car won't idle rich), and its a DAMN good deal ($100 off retail).

I can get you in the groupbuy, but money would need to be paypal'd either today or tomorrow. Also, will your fuel setup be able to work with the 42#? You will get a very rich idle and off-idle if the size of the injectors isn't compensated for.

Is the vendor a Rennlist Sponsor? If so - great, if not, please refrain from promoting them on the Forums.

Please see item #9 of the Rennlist Charter for additional guidance:

Thanks.

The price is good, but not exceptionally good. You can pretty much expect a 10-20% discount on any group buy anywhere anytime. The ASAP bit is unecessary. It just makes a purchase more possible sooner for the vendor...but thanks for sharing/offering and willing to manage the group buy

Hey guys, I got a set of ford 19# on ebay for under 100 bucks. Got an o ring set from 928 and sent then to Cruzin and he cleaned and rebuilt them. All cost me around 200 even and they are very good. Rich even said that they really didn't even need cleaning but I had it done for POM. Just type in ford design II injectors on ebay. Should pop right up.

Maybe a little late...

I have a nearly new set of RC Engeneering 42# injectors I'd sell for $200.

Were the leather dash cover, racing seats, cf dash, or clear turn signal guys Rennlist sponsors? just asking

I know there is a need to protect the sponsors, but I think group buys have a place in the fourm.
