Could you tell me more about the difference between the HID hi/lo and the standard HID-halogen for an H4. I have euro h4 on my car if that makes any difference.

The H4 Bi-Xenon HID Hi/Low gives you HID lighting for both High and Low beam (traditionally all HID systems are Low Beam only) . The way it works is there is one HID bulb that stays on all the time and High and Low beams are selected by a moving reflector that changes the beam angle.

The Standard H4 HID that we and others sell has HID low beams and a little halogen bulb for high beams. In reality this "high beam" bulb does little more than iluminate the headlight and is not usable for real High beams.

As a side note we are now modifiing all of our Standard H4 and H5 kits so that the HID bulb stays on even when you select High beam ( all normal HID kits turn off the HID bulb when you select High beams).

It would be very nice to see the real life difference on the H4 hi/lo HID. Do you by chance have pictures of that?

Right on, David - sounds like with these kits you are establishing the next level in 928 upgrades that will allow us to keep these beasts up-to-date!

Sorry for the delay (recovering from 4th :-). Here are the pics I think you want.

Please note the distance is only 32" from bulb to cardboard so the difference is very subtle at this distance.

FYI, this is with an 8" H4 headlight. In durability testing with my Jeep Rubicon which has the 7" Hella H4 headlights I found the the High beam was not acceptable to me due to the smaller reflector and shorter "depth" of the 7" H4. Therefore I do not recommend the extra $$ for the Bi-Xenon kit in a 7" H4 Headlight. Just to clarify, if you have 8" H4s they work great.

Just finished installing the H3's in my fog lamps, all I have to say is ohh my god, what light, and that is in the daylight! Can't wait for the darkness. Like Dave said though, I think I see the kit for the H5's on the horizon.
