Transmission Rebuild -or- Time is Money
I'm weighing options on getting my transmission rebuilt and having an LSD installed.
Option 1: Local rebuild. What am I looking at (reasonably) as far as costs. An hour estimate for labor would be helpful (I know costs vary but I need a ballpark figure).
Option 2: Source rebuilt unit, add LSD.
Option 3: Source suiatble used replacement.
I would love to have the later synchros while keeping the higher axle ratio. Any help there? Anyone holding on to a G28/10 with LSD?
