Default One simple WP bolt question

How deep should the hole with the red arrow pointing to it be? I don't want to dremel into anything important.

When installing the tensioner pushrod (pre-tension warning version) does the long end go in or out? FOUND ANSWER: Long end goes out.

Most of the pump bolts are M6x20mm, with a few @25... You are safe to go in~14mm, which is 20mm minus the thickness of the pump casting + gasket.

Yes. easy. look at the bolts, there are two lengths. Drop the bolts into the pump holding it horizontally with roller UP. They will all be exactly the same length on the underside where they hang out (protrude). Measure. That is your depth.
