Default Drag Race Fun (Now with Video!)

OK, well I was expecting to do much better, but at least I had fun. Sharks (Mark H.) was going to join us, but he ran into technical problems . Rob Budd and I were the only to P-cars. Ok, technically, I was the only p-car as Rob has a 5.7L LT4 . My best run was a 15.2 sec. I was only running the 75 shot, as I found out I'm missing the right jet for the 100 shot. Rob said his best was 12.9 sec.

I have in-car video, but no where to host it. Can someone help out?

(Edit: I found a place to host one of the 10 or so files I have. I shrunk this file down to 17mb. It's the video of the race below. Quality is quite good. Enjoy. Drag Race!

Stats:
.......................Me................................Rob Budd
Reac..............0.2298...............................0.3148
60ft................2.3831..............................2.0810
330ft..............6.5402...............................5.8580

1/8 MPH..........71.07...............................80.78
1000'.............12.9462............................11.5131

Really cool--let me know the next time you are going, I may join you.

I don't think the high ambient temp and humidity helped your times/trap speeds.

Andrew, looks like I missed the fun, again. I found the problem just by chance around 7pm last night. I was thinking about driving down, but the car was all in pieces on the garage floor due to the troubleshooting. I took it out for a run and everything looks like it is back to normal. How did the G-Tech 0-60 and 1/4 mile times compare to the track data?

One of Rob's co-workers was there with his video camera. Don't know if we can get it on here. Tony, you'd appreciate this... There was a brand new Escalade there. Stock it does about 16.8 (similar to my 82 stock) at about 6800 pounds!. They had a bolt-on turbo kit on it and were running 14 pounds of boost. It did 12.8! Talk about a sleeper! Then did say that the trans was starting to slip though

Let's just say that I like the G-tech reading a LOT better. I'll have to go through my videos and jot down what the G-tech said. Unfortunately, I forgot to push the damn button on about half of the runs. Oh well.... So what was the issue?

Ditto!

There's nowhere close to here that I could do that, and I don't think I'm interested in taking mine on a dirt track! I think the big diagonal wing on the top would be awkward...
