After tax, it's a little less than $150 / month to cross the bridge every day. Since my GF also works in DK, we drive together so it's more like $75/head/month, I.e. a non-issue.

Overall, living in Sweden is not cheaper by any significant amount. I don't think I would have moved here if my GF had not been Swedish - We have about half of our friends and familiy on either side of the bridge so it really doesn't matter to us. Cheap cars is definately a benefit though

And yes, I could get two more 928's for the refunded tax, but I'm afraid the money has already been spend on our new home.

Niels, welcome to Sweden, I noticed that you have the same car combo as me, 528 and 928

Thx, we have good taste

The 528 is a very common car around here - There's one, possibly two, cars completely identical to mine that I see on a regular basis. And I who thought Aspen Silver Metallic was kind of rare ...

Lots of 928s also... "Lots" meaning "I see one every now and then", which is quite new to me ... Actually, sometimes I get the impression that Porsches are more common than Volvos around here, which *is* kind of weird - it's probably just that they grab my attention more

That's interresting, considering they taxed mine to $27K and by law, they're required to evaulate in- and export by the same standards.

Sure, they are 4 years apart and yours is a GT, but they're clearly overcharging imports and undercharging exports. Then again, what did I expect?
