Yeah, I've been watching the weather channel and it looks like the only day without the threat of rain is Sunday! Hopefully as we get closer to the weekend the forecast will change for the better...

I just checked out the extended forecast and the high temps Friday and Saturday will be in the low to mid 40's, low's in the low 30's. I wouldn't mind a little snow at night! Looks like Summer's coming a little late to the Tahoe Valley! On the bright side, it appears that on Sunday there will be a heat wave, high near 50! Bundle up!

I'm afraid I may have brought this on as I FINALLY went and repaired the A/C system in my car in anticipation of the blast up 395 Now, I KNOW the heater works, that's one thing these cars know how to do... produce those BTU's It's beautiful up thee no matter what the weather, I'm really looking forward to this trip!

Usually, Tahoe thunder storms don't last very long. They kind of come in and then the sun comes back out. (I'll probably be wrong this time). The snow level will be fairly high and that shouldn't be a concern for anyone. Maybe I should have gotten some hot drinks instead of the beer, wine, water and sodas I bought.

Sorry Keith! Somehow missed that post Ron and I are planning on meeting you in Santa Clarita at 7:00 a.m. Just curious, I know we will probably stop in Bishop for food/fuel, but are there any plans for coffee/breakfast or are we just hitting the road?

We can stop at some point, but we need to get the hell out of Dodge since it's Fathers Day weekend. Jennifer and I will have already graced Starbucks before we get to Santa Clarita. I figure we can stop at China Lake if no one needs a pit stop before then.

Well one day left before Sharks at the Lake. Weather will be a little wet on Friday and part of Sat. Sun looks good as of now. I decided that in addition to our normal refreshments I would have coffee in the hospitality suite in case anyone gets cold. Hum,maybe brandy & coffee.
Our drives and your travel shouldn't be affected unless the snow really drops down and currently its estimated to be in the high 7000 ft range on Friday. There is not an expected accumulation for either day. (Snow, melt, gone) Be safe on your drive up and I look forward to meeting everyone.
If you need to get ahold of me on friday or anytime on the weekend, my cell # is 775 560-4989

Bathing supplies will be available all weekend anyway. Maybe Sat afternoon for the Sun drive.
The Biltmore ordered a couple more cases of Crown Royal, I guess then had advanced notice of escessive consumption possibly occuring.

I removed the car bra this morning after seeing the forecast moisture + bra = bad paint! I'll probably take advantage of the bathing facilities to remove the bug carcass's that the rain (if any) doesn't get
