Clogged Exhaust Question.
Any of you ever get a clogged exhaust due to failure of the cats? Reason i'm asking is because earlier, when i had my cat removed, and was carrying it, one of the ***** fell out and on the ground. i thought nothing of it. now that i have cat bypass pipes on, i can hear a popping in the exhaust on coast down and i am also down on power. i know i should have or the muffler shop should have turned the exhaust upside down and wacked it a couple times to make sure none of the ***** were in the exhaust, but i didn't, and don't think the muffler shop did either.
so, what are the odds some of these ***** got into the tubes behind the exhaust? this ever happen to others?

You may be down on low end torque because of lack of backpressure. If you have an early us spec. model, they are tuned for low end power and won't pick up a lot on the upper end. The popping is backfiring of burnable fuel that the cat isn't proccessing.
